Katie Couric married John Molner this weekend, and on Monday, the veteran journalist took to Twitter to share her gratitude for the well-wishes the new couple has received.
“Thank you to all my wonderful friends sharing in my happiness!” she wrote. “I (I mean we!) appreciate the warm wishes, love & support you’ve sent our way.”

Katie and John tied the knot in the backyard of her East Hampton, New York home on Saturday.
She shared a photo from the couple’s wedding on Twitter on Saturday night, captioned “So excited to make my debut as Mrs. John Molner!”

The wedding included readings by the groom’s children, Allie and Henry, as well as Katie’s daughters with late husband Jay Monahan, Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 18. John’s nieces served as flower girls.
Katie and John got engaged over Labor Day weekend 2013 after dating for two years.
This is the second marriage for both.
