Katie Holmes Calls Almost Two Year Old Suri A ‘Strong Woman’

It appears the Cruise family is already treating their youngest child like an adult.

While attending a Glamour magazine event on Thursday night in Los Angeles, Katie praised the maturity of her 20-month-old daughter, Suri.

“She’s a very strong woman,” according to a report in People.

Ever the adoring mom, Katie went on to sing the praises of Suri, saying, “I’m very proud of her. She’s actually teaching me a lot – probably more than I’m teaching her.”

Meanwhile, a rumor circulated last week that Suri was being tapped to voice the adorable polar bear “Knut” in an animated film about his life. Suri’s reps quickly dispelled this rumor.

Though Suri won’t be coming to the big screen anytime soon, judging from Katie’s remarks, who said, “She’s very smart and strong. And really magical,” Suri will succeed wherever life takes her.
