Katy Perry: ‘I’m Definitely Not Going To Get Married In Latex’

Katy Perry might be a fan of outrageous fabrics when it comes to the stage, but not when it comes to walking down the aisle with fiance Russell Brand.

“I’m definitely not going to get married in latex,” Katy told People, shooting down recent rumors that she would wear a form-fitting gown on her big day.

“When I wear latex onstage, I sweat. I could wring out those dresses – and I don’t want to do that at my wedding,” she continued.

In June, the singer, whose new album “Teenage Dream” drops on August 24, told Access Hollywood that the synthetic fabric was one of her favorites.

“The latex is probably the most comfortable thing I ever wear because it just sticks on you,” she told Access at the time. “You sweat a little bit, but it’s like a perfect fit! It makes you look extra skinnier than you are.”

Katy and Russell have yet to announce when they will walk down the aisle.
