Katy Perry Sets North American ‘California Dreams’ Tour Dates; New Grammy Performers Announced

Pop superstar Katy Perry is bringing her California Dreams 2011 world tour to North America this summer.

The 41-city trip will begin on June 7 in Atlanta, Georgia, and finish with a 2-night stint in the “Firework” singer’s hometown of Santa Barbara, Calif. at the Santa Barbara Bowl on August 14.

Katy will kick off the tour on February 20 in Lisbon, Portugal, traveling throughout Europe, the UK, Australia and Japan before heading stateside in June.

Swedish pop star Robyn will be opening on some U.S. dates for Katy; Marina and the Diamonds will be opening on other U.S. dates.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Katy is set to perform at the 53rd annual Grammy Awards.

The Recording Academy announced last week that the 26-year-old diva would hit the stage at the awards show, which will air live on February 13 on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Lady Gaga, Eminem, Arcade Fire, Cee Lo Green and Miranda Lambert will also perform.

On Thursday, the Recording Academy also announced that Lady Antebellum, Muse, Justin Bieber and Usher with Jaden Smith, and B.o.B, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monae had been added as performers.

Katy will also recently shot and will guest star on an upcoming episode of CBS’ hit comedy “How I Met Your Mother.”

The network announced in early January that the singer would play the naive, beautiful cousin of Zoey, played by Jennifer Morrison. CBS did not say when the episode would air.
