Keira Knightley Marries James Righton In The South Of France

Keira Knightley is married!

The English actress wed fiance James Righton in a small, town hall ceremony in Mazan (a small village in the Provence region of Southern France) on Saturday, according to People.

Keira, 28, and 29-year-old James, keyboardist for the Klaxons, kept their vows very low-key, with only a handful of onlookers.

“It was not a long service,” a witness told the mag. “And very few people.”

The ceremony, which was officiated by the mayor of Mazan, “occurred just before noon and lasted only about 30 minutes,” the witness added. “Keira looked beautiful. She wore a very pretty, very elegant dress.”

The stunning “Anna Karenina” star — who is the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle perfume — wore her hair down (adorned with a delicate crown of daisies), nude flats, a strapless, knee-length tulle dress by Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld and a Chanel jacket, Us Weekly reported.

The newlyweds will enjoy a larger celebration on Saturday, when 50 guests will join the couple for a garden luncheon, followed by a party where James’ band will perform, according to People.

This is the first marriage for both Keira and James, who got engaged in May 2012 after going public with their romance in April 2011.
