NEW YORK (February 16, 2007) — Keith Urban is “grateful” he managed to survive a second stint in rehab.
In his first T-V interview since being released, Urban told NBC’s “Today” show that his drinking problem had become “unmanageable” again, even though his personal and professional lives were going well.
Urban says there was no specific incident that sent him back to rehab, it was just time.
He admitted himself four months after marrying Nicole Kidman. He says “we’ve got through a lot and she’s been extraordinary.”
Urban will go on tour this April to promote his new CD, “Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing.”
