Kelsey Grammer and his girlfriend, Kayte Walsh, have suffered a devastating loss.
The couple announced today that Kayte, 29, had a miscarriage weeks ago – a reality they couldn’t bring themselves to reveal until now.
“We lost our unborn child about six weeks ago,” the couple told Access Hollywood in a statement on Saturday. “We would like to thank all of those who expressed kindness and concern but we needed a little time to heal, time to find some solace before we publicly acknowledged our loss.”
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, the former “Frasier” star was first spotted with Kayte just weeks after his soon-to-be-ex-wife, Camille, filed for divorce in July.
This would have been the fifth child for Kelsey, 55, and the first for the couple (who announced their pregnancy in August).
