It’s a half dozen for Kelsey Grammer!
The actor, 59, and wife Kayte, 33, welcomed a new edition to their family, son Kelsey Gabriel Elias Grammer, on Tuesday, July 22 at 8:28 AM in Los Angeles, his rep confirmed to Access Hollywood.

The couple’s new baby weighed 8 lbs., 2 oz. and measured 20.5 inches long.

“We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family – he is magnificent!” the couple said in a statement to Access.

And though the newborn is named after the actor, he’ll be using a different name.
“Our son will be called Gabriel as there is a tradition in our family of going by our middle names,” the statement continued. The former “Frasier” star’s real name is Allen Kelsey Grammer.
The couple’s new son joins their 2-year-old daughter, Faith Evangeline Elisa, and Grammer’s other four children – Spencer, 30, Greer, 22, Mason, 12, and Jude, 9 — from previous relationships.
