She’s traded in her wild mansion days for marriage and motherhood, but Kendra Wilkinson still maintains one strong tie to her Playboy past – her friendship with former boyfriend Hugh Hefner.
“I can tell you that Hef is my closest friend,” Kendra told People. “I’m not just saying that. He makes sure he writes to [Hank and I] every chance [he gets].
“He’s always thinking about us, and that’s a real friend,” she told the mag.
The 25-year-old former “Girls Next Door” star, who wed NFL star Hank Baskett in 2009, was escorted down the aisle and given away by Hef, who she calls “a very thoughtful man.”
“Hef always says, ‘I’m thinking about you,’” Kendra told the mag. “He asks, ‘How are you guys doing? Are you doing okay?’”
Although having such a close relationship with a former boyfriend may seem strange to some, it doesn’t sound like Hank has anything to worry about.
“I want Hef to see how my life is – it’s just great,” Kendra gushed, of her husband and their eight-month-old son. “I’m just excited to catch up on things.”
