Keri Russell: The Secret To My Awesome Abs Is ‘Exhaustion’

Keri Russell wowed Women’s Health magazine readers this year by posing on their May cover in a bikini top, which showed off her tight abs.

As a 37-year-old working mother of two, how does the actress stay so impressively fit?

“It’s called exhaustion,” Keri joked to Access Hollywood at the premiere of her new movie, “Austenland,” in New York City on Monday. “Two kids, working, schools – it’s just being tired.”

Keri gave birth to her first child, son River in June 2007, then welcomed her second child – daughter Willa – in December 2011.

Consequently, the “Americans” beauty admits that while she does work out, the length and intensity of her exercise sessions have been decreasing.

“[My workouts] get shorter and shorter,” she said. “I take bike rides, I do this really nerdy closet workout, dance around in my closet.”

Adding, “I just put on some good music and dance around.”

“Austenland,”which also stars Jennifer Coolidge and Jane Seymour, hits theaters on September 27.
