Kerry Washington is officially a mom – and as it turns out, has been for a few weeks!
The “Scandal” star gave birth to daughter Isabelle Amarachi Asomugha on April 21, according to the baby’s birth certificate, obtained by Access Hollywood.
Isabelle is the first child for Kerry and husband Nnamdi Asomugha, who wed last summer.
According to the birth certificate released on Friday, Isabelle was born at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at 5:02 PM PT on April 21.
While Kerry remained relatively quiet on her pregnancy, she didn’t try to hide her growing baby bump during numerous stylish red carpet appearances while pregnant.
At the Golden Globes in January, Shaun Robinson about embracing her impending motherhood.
“I’m very blessed. I’m truly, truly blessed. Everything’s so extraordinary,” the 37-year-old star said at the time, when asked about her pregnancy. “I have loved every moment of this and I’m just really blessed, honestly.”
