As the Season 3 premiere of “Scandal” is just days away, fans are hoping for answers to some of the major cliffhangers from the Season 2 finale!
Most notably – who leaked Olivia & Fitz’s secret?
As it turns out, “Scandal’s” loyal legions of “Gladiators” won’t have to wait long for the answer.

“You learn that in the very first episode,” Kerry Washington revealed to Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson during a visit to the Season 3 set.
But it gets better.

“Will we be absolutely floored?” Shaun asked.
“Yes!” Kerry exclaimed! “I don’t know how you will feel, but I was [floored]!”
While the identity of who spilled the beans on Olivia Pope’s steamy affair with President Fitzgerald Grant (Tony Goldwyn) was one of the big questions left unanswered in Season 2, it certainly wasn’t the only one!
What’s up with Olivia’s dad?!?
“Olivia and her daddy issues – how serious are they?” Shaun asked Kerry.
“They’re pretty serious,” Kerry replied. “Obviously, the fact that we’ve never heard of him before and the fact that she’s so shocked to see him in the season finale of Season 2, that’s a small peek into the unraveling that we get in Season 3.”
Adding, “We’re getting a lot more back story on Olivia Pope. We’re really getting a window into her past.”
With all the drama building for the new season, will there be any time for some heated love scenes for Olivia?
(Hint: yes, don’t worry!)
“If Fitz and Olivia have broken up, where’s the sexy going to come from? Where is the lovin’? Shaun asked.
“I don’t think you have to worry,” a coy Olivia grinned.
