Kevin Federline’s Attorney Files Papers In Family Court

Kevin Federline’s divorce attorney was spotted in a downtown Superior Court room earlier today.

Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan reportedly filed paperwork at the Superior Court’s Department 88. It is unclear at this time, what the papers the lawyer filed, were for exactly, but they were filed in family court, which indicates they are of a familial matter.

With the divorce between Federline and Britney Spears having been finalized only recently, insiders are speculating that the paperwork had to do with custody of their two small children – Sean Preston and Jayden James.

Sources previously told Access Hollywood that Kevin Federline planned to file for full custody of the two children following the divorce and Spears’ recent, erratic behavior.

A representative for Federline would not confirm whether the documents filed today were related to custody.
