Kevin Hart: Sony Hack Had ‘No Effect On Me’

Kevin Hart was collateral damage in the Sony Hack, after leaked e-mails revealed an exec called him a “whore” over money issues.

But the comedian, who stars alongside Josh Gad in “The Wedding Ringer,” took the remarks in stride.

“I didn’t feel nothing,” Kevin told Access Hollywood’s Liz Hernandez at the junket for the upcoming comedy, when asked how he felt when he learned of the comments. “I don’t think about that stuff… that has no effect on me.”

The 35-year-old star said criticism and financial negotiations are part of the business.

“I don’t worry myself with the business. I’m an entertainer, I am a comedian, I get paid to make people laugh and things outside of that is nothing that I am worrying about,” he explained. “At the end of the day, I am about putting smiles on people’s faces – all races, all shapes and sizes, multicultural entertainment.

“I made a great movie, I want people to go see it. ‘Wedding Ringer’ is funny,” he continued. “Why is it funny? ‘Cause Josh and myself are in it and we did a great job. That is all I am worried about! Anything outside of that I have no control over, I have no care in the world for it.”

And the comedian said “Wedding Ringer” is not only fun to watch – it was incredibly fun to make.

Kevin revealed that he took Josh to a strip club and gave him “a thousand ones” to “make it rain” – a skill he soon learned his co-star did not yet possess.

“I threw a wad of cash at a woman, and let’s just say she was not happy, and let’s just say the bouncers were not happy,” Josh told Liz. “Let’s just say I have thick fingers – they came out too fast.”

The actor said he’s gotten better at doling out cash to the ladies since his and Kevin’s first excursion.

“I got it down. Kevin’s since given me ample opportunity to figure it out,” Josh laughed.

See Kevin, Josh and Kaley Cuoco in “The Wedding Ringer,” due out in theaters on January 16.
