Kim Kardashian has Kanye West to thank for her head-turning, show-stopping Grammys gown on Sunday.
“Well actually, he was the one that styled me tonight,” Kim revealed to Access Hollywood‘s Shaun Robinson on the red carpet in Los Angeles. “He found this look from an older Jean Paul Gaultier runway show, so he made the call, called him and was like, ‘She needs to wear this dress.’ So, he styled it. It’s all him.”
Kanye – who performed twice during this year’s Grammys (“Only One” and “FourFiveSeconds”) – told Shaun his wife’s dress takes the cake.

“This is the best part of the performance tonight,” Kanye said. “The dress is a performance.”
Shaun reminded Kanye that he has already won 21 Grammys in the past and wondered where he displays all the trophies.

“Well, she made me put them up. Usually I had them in the bathroom at one point and she said, ‘Nah, we’re gonna put these Grammys up,'” he admitted to Shaun.
The proud Mrs. West said the golden statues used to be scattered throughout Kanye’s home.
“He had one in the laundry room, one in the drawer, one pretty much in the washer, so I was like, ‘We need to take these out and put them up,'” Kim teased her hubby. “And, you know, he’s a little shy about it, so they’re kinda hidden when you walk in. I posted a photo of it the other day.”

Kanye said he’s reaping the benefits of marrying Kim, who lives a glamorous lifestyle.

“She changed my life for the better,” Kanye gushed. “I was staying in a little small house when I got my first publishing deal. I had Grammys all in the bathroom. Now she’s got it set up all nice. Estate living.”
