Kirstie Alley Gearing Up To Show ‘My Junk’ On ‘Dancing’; Wendy Williams Warns Of ‘Dangerous Curves’

Kirstie Alley is excited about her upcoming stint on “Dancing with the Stars,” but despite a recent weight loss, she won’t be donning some of the show’s slinky outfits – at least, not right away.

“I’m not showing my junk until I’m ready,” Kirstie told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on Monday night, following the new season’s cast announcement.

While Kirstie is proud of her new shape, she said she’d like to slim down a bit more before showing off her curves.

“I’d like to lose about three spare tires still,” she said.

Several years ago, after a previous weight loss, Kirstie hit the stage of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in a bikini and she thinks joining “Dancing” ranks right up there with her craziest career decisions.

“That was another stupid thing that I did,” she laughed. “It’s like, what has happened to me? I used to be sort of conservative, sort of classy… and then I’m out there in a bikini and I’m out there in these [‘Dancing’ costumes].”

Although she joked the decision to dance was a wild one, it actually came after years of saying no. The former “Cheers” and “Fat Actress” star admitted she had been asked multiple times over the years to join the “DWTS” cast, but wasn’t quite ready back then.

“I declined because, you know, it takes a lot of guts to do this, and, stupidity, and I don’t think the IQs around here are so high. I’m just saying that. I know mine isn’t,” she smiled.

Like Kirstie, Wendy Williams is a curvy beauty ready to rock the ballroom with the cha cha, the tango and the fox trot, but she too warned Access Hollywood’s Shaun that she will take great care when it comes to her own “DWTS” outfits.

“This is a family show, and I’ve got dangerous curves, so the wardrobe department is definitely going to be working with me and the censors,” the talk show host laughed. “But, you know, I make it no secret — I embrace all of my womanly-ness, and ‘Dancing with the Stars’ gives me a chance to dress like I can’t when I do my daytime talk show. I won’t be in a sensible pencil skirt and a blouse.”

Wendy said she expects her fellow ballroom babe – former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson – to be the one in the itty-bitty outfits.

“Kendra’s a little girl. Everything little girls wear takes on a whole new life when you got a big girl wearing it,” she laughed.

“Dancing with the Stars” returns to ABC on March 21.
