Kirstie Alley Loses 50 Pounds – See The Pic!

Lookin’ good, Kirstie Alley!

Kirstie has shed 50 pounds in the last nine months, and will show off her svelte figure in a guest starring role on “The Middle,” airing Wednesday, January 7.

The ABC show shared a preview shot of Kirstie dressed as her character, Pam Staggs, on Twitter on Sunday, sporting a sleeveless black jumpsuit, teased hair and a leopard print scarf draped over her shoulders.

The actress, 63, who has publicly shared her weight loss ups and downs in the past, Tweeted about her latest slimming down victory on Monday morning.

“BAM! 50 lbs. Gone since April! Thank you @JennyCraig!” she Tweeted.

During an appearance on NBC’s “Today” show in April 2014, Kirstie vowed to lose 30 pounds before her next appearance on the show, and in a visit to “Today” on Monday, the actress/Jenny Craig spokeswoman shared her excitement over meeting (and exceeding!) her goal – especially during the typically calorie-laden holidays.

“My consultant and I sat down and we planned it out…It wasn’t a spree. It wasn’t my usual holiday, which lasts from Halloween to Valentine’s Day!” Kirstie told Matt Lauer. “This time I thought, ‘What is the goal?’ and ‘What is the time span of the goal?’ I really looked at it as, ‘This is my life until I am dead. I am going to keep this, this way,’ instead of like, ‘I lost 50 lbs., now I can do whatever I want.'”

The actress, who said she went from a size 12 to 14, to a size 6 to 8, plans to stay at her current weight.

“My goal is to keep this and maintain this throughout my life—especially as an actress,” she said. “People are in different lines of work, but actresses need to keep themselves [fit]. I’m actually more responsible than I was before.”

Adding, “I really want to do more acting and I want to do more movies.”

See Kirstie on “The Middle” – January 7 at 8/7c on ABC.
