Many celebrities took to social media to cheer Bruce Jenner on following his transgender revelation, but Kris Humphries’ reaction seemed less than supportive.
The athlete – who was married to Bruce’s stepdaughter, Kim Kardashian, for 72 days back in 2011 –Tweeted, “Man, I’m glad I got out when I did. #Gottadoyou” on Friday night, following Bruce’s two-hour interview with Diane Sawyer.
After facing backlash over his comment, the basketball player backpedaled on Saturday morning and offered an apology on Twitter.
I have and always will support Bruce hence #Gottadoyou. Now recognize I was too vague and sincerely apologize for the way this came across.
