Kris Jenner & Rob Kardashian Ask For Prayers For Lamar Odom

The Kardashian-Jenner family is asking for prayers for Lamar Odom.

The reality TV family spoke out on social media on Wednesday night for the first time since the former NBA star was found unresponsive in a legal Nevada brothel earlier this week.

“Please pray for Lamar,” Kris Jenner wrote in an Instagram caption, calling the athlete “our fighter.”

Rob Kardashian also posted a photo of the 35-year-old, former NBA star, writing, “Praying nonstop for my Brother!!”

Dennis Hof – who owns the Love Ranch where Odom was staying – told Access that the athlete took herbal Viagra during his stay at the brothel but that no illegal drugs were found or permitted on the premises.

For years, Odom was plagued by substance abuse rumors that he publicly denied, but he did check himself into rehab in 2013.

Earlier on Wednesday, Odom’s lawyer, Robert Shapiro, released a statement to Access, saying “Lamar is a good and decent man with compassion and an epidemic disease that is very difficult to treat.”

Odom’s family also released a statement earlier on Wednesday.

“Family and friends are extremely concerned for Lamar. Please don’t listen to the false information being circulated unofficially. Please respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time especially his children,” the statement read.

Khloe Kardashian, who is still legally married to Odom following their December 2013 divorce filing, has yet to speak out. The divorce has not yet received a final approval from a judge.
