“Twilight Saga” fans saw franchise leads Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson reunite at the premiere of “Breaking Dawn – Part 2” in Los Angeles on Monday night, and the pair was even spotted getting cozy on the red carpet.
Kristen, 22, wowed in a nude, lace and chiffon strapless gown by Zuhair Murad and Robert, 26, looked dapper in an emerald green hound’s-tooth custom suit made by Gucci.
Though the pair, who have weathered a sea of speculation about their relationship following the news that Kristen cheated on Robert with “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders, arrived separately, they were spotted displaying some PDA while on the carpet. The stars were seen affectionately touching each other’s back and whispering into each other’s ear through the night.
When Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson caught up with Kristen, she said tonight was different than any of the other “Twilight” red carpet nights.
“It’s funny I am so here right now. Usually I zone out and I try to get through it and it’s like obviously really nerve wrecking,” the actress told Shaun. “But this is the last time, [and it] should definitely be remembered and I’m definitely going to remember this.”
Robert told Shaun that his final “Twilight” red carpet night was also going to be memorable.
“It’s a really sweet little night,” he explained. “It’s very calm, compared to most times when it’s completely mental… so it’s nice.”
“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” hits theaters on November 16, 2012.
