Kristin Chenoweth To Join ‘Idol’ Judges In Orlando

“American Idol” is getting creative with their guest judges.

In the second time in under a week, the FOX reality competition has asked a star of Broadway – Kristin Chenoweth – to fill in at a regional audition, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Chenoweth, who previously starred as Olive Snook on the canceled ABC series “Pushing Daisies,” and is rumored to have netted the role of Galinda in the big screen adaptation of “Wicked,” (she previously starred in the Broadway version of the musical), will sit in at the Orlando auditions this week.

Chenoweth follows “How I Met Your Mother’s” Neil Patrick Harris, who joined Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi in Texas earlier this week.

Other guest judges this season have so far have included Shania Twain, Joe Jonas, Mary J. Blige and Victoria Beckham, who were all brought in after original “Idol” judge Paula Abdul decided not to come back to the reality show.
