Kristy Swanson Arrested After Altercation With Eisler’s Ex

Actress Kristy Swanson was arrested late Saturday night for allegedly assaulting the ex-wife of boyfriend and former “Skating With Celebrities” partner Lloyd Eisler, according to reports.

However, in a statement released to Access Hollywood on Sunday, a rep for Swanson and Eisler claim it was Eisler’s ex-wife, Marcia O’Brien, who attacked Swanson in Kingston, Ontario.

“On Friday night, June 15, 2007, in Kingston, Ontario, our client, Kristy Swanson was assaulted by Lloyd Eisler’s ex wife, Marcia O’ Brien, while walking from the passenger seat to give her four-month-old son, a pacifier. The child of Kristy Swanson and Lloyd Eisler was in the back child safety seat of the minivan along with Lloyd’s two young children. Kristy was accompanying Lloyd on a scheduled parental visit to Kingston,” according to Michael Sands, spokesman for Swanson and Eisler.

Sands claims Swanson suffered bruises on her left knee, bruises and scratches on her left arm and a scratch under her left arm, near her back as a result of the attack.

“I am sorry that my ex wife is being so vindictive. I left my wife, contrary to what other media sources have reported in the past. My ex-wife is trying to cover up the assault by falsely pressing charges with the local Constable first,” Eisler said in a statement.

Sands says Swanson plans to press charges on Sunday against O’Brien.

Swanson, 37, and Eisler, 44, met on FOX’s “Skating With Celebrities” last year. The couple announced they were pregnant back in August 2006. Swanson gave birth to the couple’s first child in February.

Swanson’s film credits include “Big Daddy,” “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” She recently made news when she was cast as an Anna Nicole Smith character in an episode of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent.” Eisler won bronze medals at the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympics with skating partner Isabelle Brasseur.
