La La Anthony is the latest star to join the cast of 50 Cent’s drama for Starz, “Power.”
The actress (and former MTV presenter) will play a character named LaKeisha Grant – childhood friend to Tasha St. Patrick, played by Naturi Naughton.
LaKeisha is described as Tasha’s closest confidant but is kept in the dark on certain aspects of Tasha’s life out of necessity.

“Power,” from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, follows the rise of James “Ghost” St. Patrick, who runs a New York City nightclub called Truth, which caters to the rich and famous.
But the club is a front for Ghost’s underworld activities, including a drug network for the powerful and wealthy denizens of the city, a trade he’s trying to get out of.
“Power” will premiere in 2014 on Starz.
