Lady Gaga Announces Date Of New Single, ‘Judas’: ‘Let The Cultural Baptism Begin’

The next wave of Lady Gaga is out to be unleashed!

Following the monster success of the title track off Gaga’s second full-length album, “Born This Way,” the singer has announced the release date of her new single, “Judas.”

“So that concludes Gagavision Number 41. Judas is coming. Let the cultural baptism begin,” the Grammy winner said in video message posted on her YouTube page.

In the video post, the singer is seen rehearsing dance choreography for the song’s video, which Gaga co-directed with her creative director, Laurieann Gibson.

A message at the end of the video reads, “Judas April 19. If they were not who you were taught they would be, would you still believe?”

“Born This Way” (the album) drops on May 23, followed by an appearance on “Good Morning America” on May 27, where Gaga will kick off the show’s summer concert series. The singer’s “Monster’s Ball” tour stop at New York’s Madison Square Garden – taped in February – will air on HBO as a concert special on May 7.
