Lady Gaga & Beyonce Drop ‘Telephone’ Video

The wait is over for Lady Gaga and Beyonce fans – their highly anticipated joint video for “Telephone” has arrived!

The pop powerhouse duo is featured in an epic nine-minute music video directed by Jonas Akerlund (who also directed Gaga’s “Paparazzi” video) where we see Lady Gaga heading to a women’s prison (labeled a “prison for bitches”) wearing a slew of revealing ensembles, including a scene where she is only sporting yellow crime scene tape. Other Gaga fashion highlights from “Telephone” include using soda cans as hair rollers, sunglasses adorned with burning cigarettes and a hat made of retro plastic telephones.

After a lesbian encounter in the prison yards, Beyonce springs Gaga, and they hit up a diner where they encounter a man, played by Tyrese Gibson, whom they poison – along with everyone else in the restaurant.

The musical mini-movie –– ends with Lady Gaga and Beyonce driving off into the sunset, “Thelma & Louise”-style as they flee from the cops.

Fans with a keen eye will notice that Gaga worked in multiple products that she endorses into the video, including her own headphones – Heartbeats by Lady Gaga, a Polaroid camera and a Virgin mobile cell phone.

The video ends with, “To be continued,” which we hope means there will be more in the future from this power musical duo.
