Lamar Odom Removed From Flight Over Alleged Intoxication

Lamar
Odom is in the headlines again, this time for getting ejected from a
Delta flight at LAX.

A
source at the airline, who spoke with Access Hollywood under the condition of
anonymity, said they have seen the airline’s incident report and claimed that
the former Laker was removed from a plane at LAX on Monday night for allegedly
being an “intoxicated passenger” on a flight destined for JFK.

The
source said Odom arrived at the airport without a reservation around 9PM PT,
without checked baggage. He went to the ticket counter at Delta and gave staff
his credit card.  He allegedly told them he needed to get the next flight
to JFK for “an emergency,” and purchased a one-way ticket.

After
reportedly spending time in a nearby airport lounge, the report claims he
boarded the NYC-bound flight and vomited on the plane, according to the source.
He was removed from the aircraft by the crew at the pilot’s request, the
source told Access, noting that there was no indication that the former
basketball star was abusive or “acting crazy.” Odom was told he could
not fly unless he sobered up, according to the source.

The
airline gave Odom a hotel voucher and made a reservation for him at a nearby
Sheraton hotel, but he told them he had an emergency and had to get to JFK, the
source said. Odom was then taken to the gatehouse at LAX to sober up before
eventually flying out to NYC just before midnight on Monday.
