Lance Bass Reveals ‘High Fashion’ Wedding Plans; Is ‘Very Nervous’ About Upcoming Debut Single

Lance Bass proposed to boyfriend Michael Turchin in September and Access Hollywood caught up with the former *NSYNC-er to find out if the pair have started planning their big day.

“Wedding plans? Oh yeah, I’d like to know that too!” Lance told Access with a laugh, when asked about the couple’s nuptials at the 2013 American Music Awards on Sunday. “We haven’t even started yet.”

While they’ve been taking their time on planning, Lance, 34, said they have a definite time frame in mind.

“It’ll be next fall, for sure,” he said.

The singer – who is about to debut his first solo single – said gay weddings can take awhile to get jump-started, as there’s no excited bride to get down to details.

“The sad thing about two guys planning a wedding is it’s really hard – the wedding’s usually for the bride, and they’ve been dreaming of it since they were two years old. With the guys, we’re kind of a little easy going,” he said, laughing. “So, I think it’s gonna take us a good year to plan this thing.”

The couple, who has been together since December 2011, have figured out a way to ensure their wedding will be full of glitz and glam.

“The one cool thing that I really want to do is, since there is no wedding dress, I want all the ladies to come completely in couture and just over-the-top high fashion – like we’re going to the Met Ball or something,” he said.

As for his new music, Lance said he’s both excited and terrified to get back into the music saddle, years after *NSYNC went their separate ways.

“I was in the studio this week – I’ve got my first debut single,” he said. “It’s taken me 12 years to find the right song and I just found this amazing song that I fell in love with and recorded it just this week.”

Adding, “It’s gonna be out in a couple of weeks and I’m very nervous! Very, very nervous.”
