LAPD: ‘No Crime Was Committed’ In LeAnn Rimes’ Alleged Hit-And-Run Incident

LeAnn Rimes will not face charges in her August alleged hit-and-run incident, Access Hollywood has learned.

“No crime was committed and the case was closed two days ago,” a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told Access on Friday.

As previously reported on Access Hollywood.com, the country singer – who recently went public with her relationship with “Northern Lights” co-star Eddie Cibrian – was involved in a minor traffic accident on August 21 in West Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, Rimes told authorities that she was not aware that she clipped the car involved in the incident. The singer was reportedly cooperative when questioned by police.
