“Curb
Your Enthusiasm” is returning.
HBO
announced on Tuesday that Larry David will star in a new season of the
hilarious premium cable comedy, the show’s ninth.
“In
the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I
left, I did nothing, I returned,'” Larry said in a statement about
why he decided to come back.

Just last week, J.B. Smoove said during an interview with “The Rich Eisen Show,” that Larry was interested in a return to his beloved cable comedy.
And HBO couldn’t be happier.

“We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of ‘Curb’ and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” HBO Programming President, Casey Bloys, said in a statement.
No details were immediately available about when Season 9 will premiere.
