Larry King and seventh wife Shawn Southwick King are hoping to make it work after all – the couple is not divorcing.
“We love our children, we love each other, we love being a family. That is all that matters to us,” the couple said in a joint statement.
“We owe it to ourselves and our children to continue being dedicated to each other,” their statement continued. “We want to thank our friends for their loyal love and support – for being there for us.”
The couple filed divorce papers last month, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind the split. Since announcing their plans to divorce, they were seen publicly together numerous times, often embracing and being affectionate with each other.
The 76-year-old CNN talk-show host and Shawn, 50, have two sons together, Chance, 11, and Cannon, 9.
