Not so fast, Directioners – that earlier reported new Zayn Malik song is just an old One Direction demo!
The internet (at least the portion used by 1D fans) flipped out on Tuesday, when producer Naughty Boy released (and then quickly removed) a track on SoundCloud that was believed to be Zayn’s first music since quitting One Direction.
However, a source close to One Direction tells Access Hollywood that the song, “I Won’t Mind,” is actually an old 1D track and not a new Zayn song.

The demo was actually recorded for the band’s last album, “FOUR.”
The former 1D member previously said he left the super successful boy band “to be a normal 22-year-old” and “It’s not that I’ve turned my back on [One Direction] or anything, it’s just that I just can’t do that anymore because it’s not real to me.”
Fans will have to keep on waiting until they get new music from Zayn.
