LeBron James Teaming Up With Judd Apatow

LeBron James is heading from the hardwood to the big screen.

The NBA superstar is joining Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy “Trainwreck,” according to Variety.

The film also stars Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Brie Larson, Vanessa Bayer, wrestler John Cena and “Captain Philips” Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi. Rapper Method Man has also joined the cast.

Apatow is directing and producing, while Schumer – star of Comedy Central’s “Inside Amy Schumer” – is also helping to develop the movie.

No plot details are currently available.

It’s the second recent film annoncement for James, who in December, revealed he would be joining Kevin Hart in the big screen comedy “Ballers.” No word which film will mark King James’ debut.

James’ previous acting credits (outside of his numerous commercials) include a cameo on HBO’s “Entourage” and lending his voice to the Nike animated series “The LeBrons.”
