Leighton Meester Denies Sex Tape Rumors

Leighton Meester has denied reports she once took part in a sex tape with a boyfriend at the age of 18.

”[The tape] is not real,” she told the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “So it makes me sort of sad. It’s unfortunate that it got carried as far as it did.”

In June, reports surfaced that the “Gossip Girl” star was the focus of the tape that hit the Internet and although she denies it is her in the clip, the actress said she gets why people think it’s her.

“I definitely understand the nature of people better now and that the mere allegation of something like that could be headline news,” she continued. “People think it’s real because somebody says it is.

“By the way, [as for] me being 18 in those pictures, I don’t believe I was,” she added.

It was unclear in the feature if she was confirming the validity of the pictures with her additional comment.

In addition to sex tape rumors and ones of on-set rivalries with her fellow “Gossip” girls, Leighton has made headlines for her romance with boyfriend Sebastian Stan, formerly of NBC’s “Kings.”

“I’m doing everything I can to keep things separate,” she said of keeping her relationships private. “I feel like my friends are in a cult because we’re like, ‘No outsiders.’ I’ve never been crazy. I’m a very good girl, to be honest. I don’t do anything to hurt anybody. Honestly, all I ever do is work.”

Leighton, who allowed the magazine to age her into her fifties for some of the photos in the spread, said she doesn’t fear aging because of the wisdom that comes with it. She also doesn’t have a problem with using cosmetic enhancements to keep a person looking young.

“If you get a wrinkle, I don’t feel that’s indicative of your losing ground,” she said. “That’s ridiculous. But I do support Botox. If people want that, do it.”
