Lena Dunham To Host ‘Saturday Night Live’

Lena Dunham is headed to “Saturday Night Live.”

The “Girls” creator/star will make her hosting debut on the NBC sketch comedy series on March 8, NBC announced on Tuesday.

The National, also making their “SNL” debut, will be the night’s musical guest.

Though Lena has never appeared on the NBC series, when Tina Fey hosted last year, the show did a hilarious spoof of her HBO show, which Lena called a “true honor.”

“SNL” returns on March 1 with host Jim Parsons and musical guest Beck.
