Lenny Kravitz has denied an alleged affair with Alex Rodriguez’s wife in a statement to Access Hollywood on Thursday.
“There is absolutely no affair between Cynthia Rodriguez and myself. This is unequivocally 100% not true,” the rocker said.
“Cynthia is a friend and is here with the godfather of her baby, who is also Alex’s trainer, his wife and their baby girl,” he added. “She came here to escape from everything happening in New York City. I opened my home to her as a friend and I find it extremely hurtful that I am now being referred to as an adulterer.”
Nevertheless, the New York Daily News has reported that Rodriguez and his wife have split up after six years of marriage. Similar allegations have been leveled at the Yankees slugger — according to reports, he’s been spending late nights with Madonna at her Central Park West apartment.
Madonna’s rep has denied reports of a relationship with the baseball superstar to Access and shot down divorce rumors regarding the singer and husband Guy Ritchie.
“There are no plans for Madonna and Guy to divorce,” Madonna’s rep, Liz Rosenberg, told Access. “Madonna and Alex have the same manager, Guy Oseary. They have met. They know each other and Madonna took her kids to a Yankees game last week. There’s really not anything to comment on beyond that.”
Kravitz also shares the same manager, Oseary, as Madge and A-Rod.
