Les Miserables Cast To Perform At Oscars?

Will Oscar audiences “Hear the People Sing”?

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, many of the stars of “Les Miserables” may be performing during 85th annual Academy Awards next month.

The Daily Mail spoke to Samantha Barks, who plays Eponine in the Tom Hooper-directed movie, about taking a break from her touring production of “Oliver” to perform during the February 24 show.

Samantha will reportedly join Best Actor nominee Hugh Jackman, Best Supporting Actress nominee Anne Hathaway, Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried and more, at the event, where they will sing one of the show’s standout songs – possibly “One Day More” or “Do You Hear the People Sing.”

There is also reported talk about a possible medley of songs from the beloved musical. The paper suggested that “I Dreamed A Dream,” which Anne performed in the movie, Samantha’s show-stopping ” On My Own” or Hugh’s take on “Who Am I?” could be good contenders.

Oscar producers have reportedly not finalized the details of the night’s performances.

Catch all the Oscar action on February 24, with host Seth MacFarlane, live on ABC at 7 PM ET/4 PM PT.
