Kissing Jennifer Lawrence sounds like a fantasy for most, but for her “Hunger Games” co-star Liam Hemsworth, it wasn’t exactly enjoyable.
“Anytime I had to kiss Jennifer was pretty uncomfortable,” Liam said during a fan Q&A on “The Tonight Show” on Friday night, when asked to reveal the most awkward scene to shoot.
The actor, 24, quickly explained what made the lip lock with his beautiful co-star so unpleasant.
“When you look at it on the outside, it looks like a great picture,” he said. “She’s one of my best friends, I love her, but if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting.
“Right before the scene she’d be like, ‘Yeah, I ate tuna’ or ‘I had garlic, and I didn’t brush my teeth,'” he continued. “And I’d be like, ‘Fantastic, I can’t wait to get in there and taste it!'”
Liam also admitted which movie makes him cry: “Titanic”!
“Well you know, every time I watch it, when [Leonardo] DiCaprio dies, I know it’s coming, but…yeah man, just seeing that beautiful guy die, it’s so heartbreaking,” he said, laughing.
“Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” hits theaters on November 21.
