Lil Wayne: ‘I’m Looking Forward To’ Jail

Lil Wayne may be heading for jail, but the hip-hop star told Rolling Stone not to worry about him while he’s behind bars.

“This is Lil Wayne going to jail. Nobody I can talk to can tell me what that’s like,” he told the mag. “I just say I’m looking forward to it.”

The prolific rapper added that jail shouldn’t slow down his rapid writing.

“I’ll have an iPod, and I’ll make sure they keep sending me beats,” he said.

And though the “Lollipop” rapper just dropped a new album, the rock-crossover effort “Rebirth,” he told the mag he’s accepted his time away from touring and recording.

“I look at things as ‘Everything is meant to be,’” Wayne said. “I know it’s an experience that I need to have if God’s putting me through it.

“The star pleaded guilty to a felony charge in October and received a 12-month sentence, which begins on Tuesday at Rikers Island in New York.
