Lindsay Lohan Addresses Canceling On Barbara Walters During Tonight Show Appearance

Lindsay Lohan has addressed canceling her interview with Barbara Walters.

The canceled interview was one of the first talking points when the actress, who sported red locks and a black cut-out dress on Tuesday, sat down for an interview on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

“You know, it’s just the timing wasn’t right, right now,” Lindsay told Jay, in excerpts from the show provided by NBC. Click HERE to watch a preview.

“And I love her,” Lindsay continued. “I’m a big fan of Barbara Walters. I met her when I was very young. So when it’s right, she knows she’ll be the first person I sit down with.”

The actress also touched on her new half-sister during the interview.

Asked about the recent confirmation that Michael Lohan had another child – a daughter – with someone other than her mom, Dina Lohan, Lindsay said, “I guess I could give her one word of advice — good luck with my dad.”

When Jay brought up Lindsay’s decision not to speak with her father any more, Lindsay said, “It is what it is.”

The “Liz & Dick” star revealed on the show that she plans to spend Thanksgiving with her mom, Dina, and her siblings on the East Coast. And, she will be involved in the cooking.

“I love to cook. My brother and I usually take over the stuffing and the potatoes,” she said.

“The yams… We do marshmallows on top,” she added.

Catch Lindsay’s full interview with Jay, on Tuesday night at 11:35 PM on NBC.
