Lindsay Lohan Breaks Silence About Troubled Relationship With Fiancé: ‘It’s Not The First Time’

Lindsay
Lohan has come forward with shocking new claims about her troubled relationship
with fiancé Egor Tarabasov.

In
an interview with the Daily Mail published online on Sunday, Lindsay said she
is afraid of the 23-year-old Russian business heir following their recent
public arguments.

“It’s time to tell the truth. There have been so many
lies printed about me recently. I’ve kept quiet for so long but now I’m scared
of what Egor might do to me and to himself,” she told the outlet.

A video clip posted to YouTube over the weekend shows the
couple having a physical altercation last month in Mykonos, Greece, during
which Lindsay throws a phone outside their vehicle and Egor twists her arm
behind her back as they both appear to try to retrieve it.

“Egor drank too much and he went crazy,” Lindsay
said of the dispute.

Weeks later, the pair was caught in a heated verbal exchange
on the balcony of Lindsay’s London flat, where she was reportedly overheard
claiming that Egor had strangled her in the past.

“It’s not the first time,” Lindsay told the outlet
of the London fight. “That’s the problem. But this time, someone saw.”

Lindsay
said she and Egor have been together for nearly ten months, and that the
romance evolved quickly.

“We’ve
lived together since the second night I met him,” she said, adding that
Egor proposed last September but they chose to keep the engagement under wraps
for months.

Now, Lindsay said she realizes that her and Egor’s conflicts
have possibly caused irreparable damage.

“I realize now you can’t stay in a relationship just for
love,” she said, claiming, “No woman can be hit and stay with that
person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry.”

According to the outlet, Lindsay is still wearing her
engagement ring despite the upheaval and her and Egor’s wedding plans being put
on hold.

“We planned to marry in Lake Como next May.
We should both be in Italy looking at wedding venues right now. All I wanted
was to get married and settle down. I’ve always wanted four kids and Egor and I
talked about having a family,” Lindsay said.

As for whether she and Egor will be able to patch things up,
Lindsay said she doesn’t know what the future holds.

“‘The truth is, I
wanted to make things work, but now I’m not sure that I can,” she
said.

Lindsay previously hinted at
trouble with Egor on social media. In a series of now-deleted tweets posted
last month, the 30-year-old accused Egor of cheating on her with fashion
designer Dasha Pashevkina, whom Lindsay accused at the time of being a
“Russian hooker.”

In an exclusive email interview
with Access Hollywood on July
26, Dasha denied Lindsay’s
allegations and said she’s “never” seen Egor be violent.

Dasha also told Access at the
time that she intends to press charges for defamation of character.

In her interview with the
Daily Mail, Lindsay said she “shouldn’t
have said things about Dasha,” and that she has since “apologized to
her.”

However, the actress also said she remains
hurt by what’s transpired between her and Egor and that it’s ultimately time
for her to move on.

“I need closure. I genuinely fell in love
with him but he broke my trust and made me feel unsafe,” she said.

Lindsay went on to explain that despite efforts to work
through their issues, she’s reached a point where she needs to keep her
personal and professional interests a priority.

“I know I’m not an angel but I’ve tried to fix things.
It’s down to him now,” she said.  “I had suggested we go for
couples’ counseling but there comes a time when I have to put myself first, my
family, and also think about my career which I’ve worked so hard for. I also
don’t want to let my fans down by not being the strong woman I have become.”

Egor
