Lindsay Lohan Claims She’s Doing Community Service

Lindsay Lohan is due back in court on Wednesday for a probation progress report amid reports that the prosecutor in her case is expected to ask for jail for the actress – and Lindsay is speaking out about it.

“I just want it to be known, that just because I was not followed&photographed during the times I’ve gone to community service, does NOT mean that I wasn’t following my obligations (by going) to the court,” the 25-year-old actress wrote in a post on her WhoSay page on Tuesday.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, according to the Associated Press, Los Angeles City Attorney’s spokesman Frank Mateljan said the recommendation for jail is due to Lohan’s termination from a downtown women’s shelter, where she was previously doing community service.

The actress is reportedly now doing her community service work at the American Red Cross.

The actress’ spokesperson declined to comment when contacted by Access Hollywood on Tuesday.
