“#meangirlsday,” she added, but fans already know what makes the date so special.

In one of the comedy’s most adorable sequences, Lilo’s character, Cady, takes notice when her crush, school heartthrob Aaron Samuels, finally starts talking to her. The conversation may be brief, but Cady is elated nonetheless.

“On October 3, he asked me what day it was,” Cady narrates, before giving Aaron her proud reply.

“It’s October 3,” she says, beaming.

Actor Jonathan Bennett, who played Aaron, Tweeted on Friday that he’d already received a collection of “Mean Girls” Day reminders.

“My phone is blowing up,” he said, asking followers to “make it a team effort” and chime in with their favorite “Mean Girls” memories.

Co-star Daniel Franzese is sharing in the reverie, too. As Cady’s lovable friend Damien, the actor delivered some of the movie’s most memorable one-liners, including the now-staple “You go, Glen Coco!”

The actor posted a “then and now-ish” side-by-side on Instagram, and a fun graphic of the whole gang.

Lindsay and her co-stars may be enjoying their trip down memory lane, but the actress is also considering her “Mean Girls” future.

“Next step: #MEANMOMS,” she wrote on Instagram, adding a few laughing emojis. “I’m trying to make it happen!”
