Lindsay Lohan Not In Rehab (Reports)

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly not in rehab.

Despite reports – and her lawyer’s assertion — that the actress had checked into Morningside Rehab in South Orange County on Thursday, the New York Post has now reported that she is not in treatment at the facility.

The Post wrote that Lohan ended up “chickening out when she got” to the rehab center. TMZ also reported that the actress arrived at the facility in an SUV, but left the area before going inside.

Earlier on Thursday, Lohan’s lawyer, Mark Heller, told a judge in Los Angeles the actress was in rehab.

“My client is ensconced in the bosom of that facility right now,” Heller said, per the Associated Press.

But it appears Heller may have been mistaken.

Terry White, a prosecuter, told the Post, “I hear she’s on her way to LAX and getting on a flight back to New York.”

Access Hollywood has left messages for the actress’ attorney, publicist and mother, Dina Lohan, as well as the Santa Monica City Attorney and Morningside.
