Just a day after leaving the Betty Ford Center, Lindsay Lohan was ready to work up a sweat.
The actress surfaced Tuesday evening at Equinox in West Hollywood, Calif. with a male friend.
A source told Access Hollywood, that the 24-year-old actress was laughing and appeared to be happy while at the gym.
The source did not see Lindsay working out, but did witness her stretching following her friend’s workout.
She sported head to toe workout gear with her hair pulled back.
On Wednesday morning, Lindsay was back at the WeHo fitness hotspot, a source told Access.
Lindsay had her “hair down,” on Wednesday the source said, adding that she was looking, “great” and actually working out this time.
The source witnessed the actress hitting the treadmill and doing some “interval training, drinking water during her slow moments.”
Lindsay appeared to be with the same friend she showed up with to the gym on Wednesday night, which appeared to be a personal trainer.
While Lindsay tried to keep things “low key,” the source said that, once again, there was a host of paparazzi outside the gym trying to take photos of the starlet.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, sheriff’s investigators want the actress charged with battery for last month’s skirmish with a Betty Ford Center rehabilitation technician.
On Tuesday, Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan’s lawyer, issued a statement noting they were troubled that the Palm Desert Police spoke out about the alleged incident with Holland.
“The important, yet limited, investigatory role of the police to gather facts and collect evidence is well-established. The fact that the Palm Desert Police Department went outside this limited role to issue a press statement expressing its opinion about what should happen in Ms. Lohan’s case is highly unusual and deeply troubling,” Holley’s statement to Access Hollywood read.
The actress is due back in court Feb. 25 in Beverly Hills for a hearing where a judge is expected to address Lohan’s probation and the Betty Ford altercation.
