Lindsay Lohan Takes Aim At The Headlines: ‘People Fabricate Lies’

Lindsay Lohan is taking aim at the headlines.

On Wednesday, the actress defended her reputation in a Tweet.

“All of this negative press is BS…. Whenever I’m doing great, people fabricate lies. It’s such a shame. I’m just sayin’,” she wrote.

Lohan’s Tweet appeared to be in response to a host of headlines that noted the actress was questioned by authorities after a reported burglary in Los Angeles.

TMZ claimed the actress brought two men to a party in the Hollywood hills, and the owner suspected the men in the alleged theft of some items.

Lohan was reportedly questioned by police at the home, but left after finding out she was not a suspect, the website reported.

A rep for Lohan issued a statement to Access Hollywood on Wednesday insisting Lohan was “never formally questioned.”

“Contrary to reports, Lindsay was never formally questioned by police in connection with this incident. There are all kinds of stories floating around about what may or may not have happened, who was or was not there and what, if anything, was missing from the house. We will defer to the police to determine what actually occurred, if anything, instead of speculating without any concrete facts,” Lohan’s rep, Steve Honig, told Access in a statement on Tuesday.
