Lindsay Lohan Tweets From India: ‘Over 40 Children Saved So Far’

Lindsay Lohan has only been in India for a few hours, but she Twittered that she is already making a difference and saving lives.

“Over 40 children saved so far…… Within one day’s work,” the actress Tweeted. “This is what life is about….. Doing THIS is a life worth living!!!”

Lindsay arrived in India on Wednesday as part of a BBC documentary she is making on the trafficking of women and children, and the trip has given the tabloid target some new priorities

“traffiking is a big issue here, I’m [doing] what I can, and I will continue to do so as long as life when time permits it,” she wrote.

And the actress and recent fashion consultant urged her fans to help get the word out about human trafficking.

“Keep telling people about what’s going on in all 2nd and 3rd world countries and people will want to help too,” she said.

Lindsay, who has made a host of headlines for her personal life over her work of late, also urged others to turn their attention to what matters.

“Focusing on celebrities and lies is so disconcerting, when we can be changing the world one child at a time,” she wrote. “hope everyone can see that.”
