Lindsay Lohan Won’t Be Charged Monday Over Missing Necklace

Despite other online reports, Lindsay Lohan will not be charged on Monday over a one-time missing necklace, Access Hollywood has learned.

A rep for the District Attorney’s office confirmed to Access on Monday that their office was not planning to file any charges today.

Last week, the Los Angeles Police Department investigated Lohan for grand theft, however it was not clear if charges will be filed at all over the alleged incident.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Kamofie & Co., a jewelry store located in Venice, Calif. (where Lohan has been living), reported a necklace had been stolen on January 22.

Last Tuesday, police attempted to execute a search warrant on Lohan’s home, but the necklace was turned into authorities before they took action on the warrant.

Over the weekend, Lohan’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, issued a statement over the investigation.

“We vehemently deny these allegations and, if charges are filed, we will fight them in court, not in the press,” Holley said.

Holley issued the statement after TMZ claimed Lohan would be charged with felony grand theft over the necklace, worth a reported $2,500.

Lohan is currently out on probation and is due in court on February 25 for a status hearing.
