Lindsay Lohan’s Emotional Oprah Call On Letterman

Lindsay Lohan got a little misty eyed when David Letterman called Oprah Winfrey’s direct line.

During her appearance on the “Late Show,” Lindsay convinced Dave to dial up Lady O, where he got Oprah’s take on how the headline-making actress is doing.

“Yes, could I speak to Oprah Winfrey, please? Hi, this is Lindsay Lohan’s secretary,” Dave said in a fake voice.

“Who is this?” a puzzled Oprah asked.

“It’s Dave, Oprah, it’s Dave,” he confessed, and then asked how she thought Lindsay, who has a docu-series on OWN, was doing.

“I think she’s doing really OK,” Oprah said of Lindsay.

“To have cameras following you around for every phase of your life, and you are trying to pull your life together, I think that’s a really difficult thing,” she explained. “So, yeah, we’re really pleased she’s making some progress.”

While Oprah spoke, Lindsay attempted to hold back a few tears and wiped her eyes.

Dave lightened the mood, saying, “Oprah, I’ve spent 30 years trying to pull my life together. Where the hell have you been?”

Lindsay’s media blitz continues with an appearance on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on April 17 and she’ll co-host “The View” on Friday.
