Lindsay Lohan’s Lawyer Asks Appellate Court To Set Aside Judges’ Ruling Refusing Actress Bail

The lawyer for freshly jailed actress Lindsay Lohan has filed an appeal with the California Court of Appeal over a judge’s decision on Friday to deny the “Machete” star bail, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

Shawn Chapman Holley, legal counsel for Lohan, filed the appeal on Friday afternoon, hours after the actress was remanded to custody for violating the terms of her probation by failing at least one drug test – something she admitted to on Twitter one week ago.

According to TMZ, Holley is asking the appellate court to set aside Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox’s ruling that landed the actress in jail without bail, while she awaits an October 22 hearing on the probation violation.
