Lindsay Lohan has a new fan.
The actress’ “The Canyons” co-star, former adult film star James Deen, says he gleaned a lot of knowledge from Lilo during the filming of the Bret Easton Ellis-penned thriller.
“Working with her was awesome,” James told TMZ of Lindsay on Saturday. “She’s super professional. Super great. She’s a fantastic actress … I feel like I learned a lot from her.”
James, 26 – who entered the adult film industry at the age 18 – said working with the “Liz & Dick” star brought out “the best” in his acting abilities.
“It was very helpful to me as an amateur,” he said.
Last month, Lindsay’s rep Steve Honig confirmed the 26-year-old star would join James in “The Canyons.”
“A big part of the reason she did this was because of [director] Paul Schrader and the opportunity to work with such an iconic filmmaker,” Steve said at the time.
“The Canyons” – which also stars Gus Van Sant – is slated for theatrical release in 2013.
